Batter:
6 eggs separated into yolks and egg whites
2 tbsp. four
¼ banking soda
¼ baking powder
2 tbsp. cacao
6 tbsp. sugar
Instructions:
Take egg whites and beat with sugar until they form hard peeks.
In a separate bowl, beat 6 egg yolks with flour, cocoa, baking soda and powder.
When the eggs whites are ready (formed hard peeks) gently mix the egg yolk mixture into the egg whites, and fold until the mixture is uniform.
Put the mixture into a baking tray, where the cake will be served (make sure it is one you can bake in)
and put in the oven on 250 F for 40 minutes. After the 40 minutes, increase the oven to 350F, and put the cake in for an additional 10 minutes. Make sure that you check the cake throughout the baking process to ensure that it does not burn.
Take out the cake and pour over the hot syrup (see instructions for syrup below)
Syrup:
4 tbsp. sugar
½ cup water
1 tbsp. brandy
Instructions:
Add the sugar and water into a pot and cook together on medium until the sugar is completely dissolved and the syrup is one colour. About 10-15 minutes. Once cooked, add the brandy.
Cream:
500 g heavy whipping cream
1 tbsp sugar
160 g vanilla pudding powder
Instructions:
Whip the cream and sugar together for about 5 minutes, then add the pudding into the whipping cream
continue whipping until the mixture can form hard peeks on it’s own. Make sure that you do not over whip the cream, because it will turn into butter.
Icing:
300 g dark chocolate
¼ cup of water
3 eggs separated into egg whites and egg yolks
3 tbsp of sugar
Beat the egg whites with the sugar
Melt the chocolate with water, and remove from the heat.
Quickly mix the three egg yolks with the chocolate to ensure the eggs do not cook.
Then add the whipped egg whites into the mixture.
Final steps:
Once the cake is completely cool, spread the cream in an even layer,
and then spread the icing evenly on top of the cream layer (the icing should be a little warm, otherwise it will not spread).
The "Slippery three layers chocolate cake" was eaten so quickly that I did not have time to take a photograph of a slice of cake in a cut :-).
Try! It will surpass all your expectations. It's very tasty.
